I studied Viola performance at Boston University and then at the California Institute of the Arts. While freelancing in Boston, an overwhelming curiosity about Chinese Medicine led to earning another masters degree and becoming a board certified acupuncturist and herbalist. Happily combining the practice of music and medicine, I was never one to just sit tight,  I also began to write, mostly because my mother said I should.  At some point, you just listen to your mother.

I launched this site the day I  became an empty nester. It seemed only fitting that I, mom, should fledge too. Here I will post my stories about life and Labradors which is a wide enough net for now.
